When excellence becomes a constant, recognition becomes the echo of a job well done. March 2025 has been an unforgettable month for Venture Group Tenerife, where our culinary spaces have taken centre stage on both national and international platforms.
The prestigious Repsol Guide, the highly anticipated Qué Bueno Canarias Awards, and specialised events such as the 5th Spanish Burger Championship have all celebrated the brilliance of concepts like Troqué, Kensei, CHAR, The Bank, and Dedos — reaffirming that Venture doesn’t just follow trends, it shapes the culinary landscape of the Canary Islands.
All of this is made possible by the passion, dedication, and commitment of an extraordinary team.
And beyond our kitchens, our social commitment continues, supporting heartfelt initiatives such as the Pink Duck Race, reminding us that true success is also crafted with compassion.
Read on to discover all the highlights from such a special month.
Repsol Recognition for Troqué’s Seasonal Spanish Cuisine
In just six months since opening, Troqué has been recommended by the Repsol Guide, thanks to its contemporary interpretation of traditional Spanish cuisine.
This recognition celebrates a culinary vision that honours natural cycles, seasonality, and the intricate art of detail.
Troqué is a bold tribute to authenticity, freshness, and emotion. And this is only the beginning.
KENSEI and CHAR: Reigniting Their Repsol Suns
At the 2025 Repsol Gala, Kensei Japanese Contemporary and CHAR Fuego y Brasas reaffirmed their place in Spain’s gastronomic elite by renewing their Repsol Sun.
Being part of such a prestigious culinary ranking is a testament to a journey shaped by mastery, respect for ingredients, and boundless creativity.
THE BANK: Best Steakhouse in the Canaries 2024
At the Qué Bueno Canarias Awards, held in Lanzarote, The Bank Steakhouse was crowned Best Regional Steakhouse of the Year. A tribute to excellence in butchery, precise ageing, fire mastery and, above all, a team that works with heart and precision.
We also proudly celebrate the nominations of CHAR, Troqué, and chef Víctor Planas, whose talent continues to position Venture as a benchmark for innovation and quality.
Víctor Planas, Among the Top Chefs in the Canaries
With over two decades of experience, Kensei’s head chef Víctor Planas was named among the Top 10 Chefs in the Canary Islands.
With a career that includes a Repsol Sun, Michelin mentions, and accolades from Madrid Fusión, his leadership has taken Kensei beyond borders as a temple of high-end Japanese cuisine.
Troqué, Also Nominated for Best New Restaurant Project
Another nomination for Troqué, this time for Best New Restaurant Project in the Canary Islands 2024.
A youthful, dynamic concept, committed to offering ever-evolving experiences in tune with the seasons and the most discerning palates.
Dedos: The Best Burger in the Canaries 2025
More than just a recipe, it’s a symbol of how street food can reach new heights when driven by conviction, creativity, and soul.
Purpose-Driven Gastronomy: Pink Duck Race
True success is also cooked from the heart. In March, Venture proudly took part in the Pink Duck Race, adopting 100 charity ducks to support the fight against breast cancer through the Primeras Becas Rosa initiative.
This reflects one of our core values: creating impact beyond the kitchen. Because to nourish is also to care, unite, and transform.
Venture Group Tenerife: More Than Just Restaurants
These awards and accolades aren’t the destination. They’re fuel. They are proof of a shared journey towards excellence. They inspire us to keep innovating, delighting, and connecting with those who choose us to celebrate their most unforgettable moments.
To everyone who’s part of this family,; customers, chefs, waiters, marketers, suppliers, designers, and dreamers, thank you for being part of the group that’s setting the standard for lifestyle dining in the south of Tenerife and beyond.
This is only the beginning. There’s so much more to come.
